Casablanca

Casablanca Also known as the ‘White City’ gets its name from "Casa Branca" given by the Portuguese when it was a little Berber village situated on Anfa Hill. The city now housing almost 5 millions inhabitants, was developed in the early 20th century when the French protectorate representatives decided to build an artificial port and planned the construction of a new city . Casablanca, the cosmopolitan and economic capital of Morocco, is famous ... for its nightlife with a plethora of excellent restaurants, night clubs, cinemas and spectacles. You must remember this: ‘A kiss is just a kiss.’ They still say "I love you." On that you can rely. No matter what the future brings, as time goes by, moonlight and love songs are never out-of-date. Hearts are full of passion, jealousy and envy. Woman loves man, and man must have his mate- that, no one can deny. It's still the same old story: a fight for love and glory. A case of do or die. The world will always welcome lovers. Casblanca is ‘the’ complete, modern city of Morocco's industrial center, bearing little resemblance to its famous movie namesake (no scenes from the famous film were even shot here!). Like any other major city in the world, Casablanca is filled with bustle and energy. Casablanca is deservedly famous for the Hassan II Mosque, the worlds 5th largest mosque, and one of the very few open to non-Muslims in the country. It is one of Morocco's most extraordinarily magnificent statements to faith. Major cities and capitals from all over the world have direct flights to Casablanca or via Paris, making it an ideal location to host international congressesional meetings and events. Here you will find a mild climate year round; sometimes hot in summer but never cold in winter with occasional rain. Excursions from Casablanca to Marrakech , Fes, Rabat, Marrakech and El Jadida are also possible

The Hassan II mosque

The Hassan II mosque Designed by French architect Michel Pinseau, the Hassan II ... mosque looks like a majestic ship moored at the gates of the ocean. Completed in 1993, the mosque is the largest religious building in the world after the mosque in Mecca. Slightly more than 100,000 faithful can pray there (25 000 in the mosque and 80 000 on the vast esplanade). The monument also houses a madrasa, a library, a national museum and large rooms conférences.Les best Moroccan craftsmen participated in the splendid interior of the building frescoes, zelliges, arabesque stucco and wood carvings of beautiful testament to the talent these artists! At the top of the minaret above 200 meters, two lasers with a range of 30 km are continually directed towards Mecca. To finance this masterpiece of Islamic art, the government made a national appeal, the lucky donor received in exchange for a diploma!

The old medina

The old medina It is situated within walking distance of the place of the United Nations. Housed ... in the shadow of simple walls, streaked with winding streets where bystanders mingle and artisans, the old medina offers a surprising contrast with the architecture of the new town nearby. During the walk, we discover shrines, mosques, not to mention the Spanish church Buenaventura, the Scala, and the charming square of Sidi Bou Smara with his marabout tombs and aligned under a banyan tree. The area is visited by day, night can be an opportunity to bad meetings!
