The tour Hassan mosque

Description
The mosque was built in the late twelfth century by Sultan Yaqub al Mansur (1184-1199). He wanted to build the biggest mosque, but this project was interrupted by his death in 1199 and the mosque remains unfinished and will be devastated by the earthquake of 1755. The remains of the mosque's minaret, a few columns and sections of wall have great style and hint at the scale of the original monument. The minaret, square, raised amid the debris of the four hundred columns, rises to over 44m in height. Walls half a meter thick, forming a gently sloping ramp amount spin around six central components superimposed. Its decor is simple and varied tracery broad and simple.
